The future of work. In Abruzzo.

It was since I was probably 11 that I put feet in the marvelous Abruzzo region.

So when the team behind Mondo d’Autore invited me on a panel with Luca de Biase (Nova, Il Sole 24 ore), Pier Luigi Sacco (IULM University) and moderated by Paolo Ottolina (Corriere Della Sera), I was more than happy to accept, and brought the family with me.

Amazing venue in the ancient streets of Sant’omero and a thrilling topic on the workers of the future.

It turned out to be a (veeeery long and) amazing road trip through suspended between the hills and the sea of central Italy. With great food, breath taking scenarios and amazing people met.

Falling.

“Running is a constant fall.” (thanks Giorgio Cordiner)

An approach to running techniques to accelerate the pace and increase the foot-to-earth power and effectiveness. (And I know I’m over simplifying here).

This is definitely the best definition of success I’ve heard recently: to properly run you have to accept the fall. To properly succeed you have to accept failure.

It’s not about avoiding to fall. It’s learning to get up after the fall. And Shine.

At the Henley business school. And running challenges.

Spent the last couple of days in Henley, an amazingly nice little town 40 minutes out of London. The Business School is in the top 25 globally, and the place is gorgeous, right beside river Thames.

Spent the night in the dorm and had dinner with some of the (grown up) students.

And, oh, I managed to complete this month running challenge with a 13Km workout, with my herd. And reached 160Km run in a single month (well, slightly less, actually).
